About Us
Name of the organization: Association of American Halal Certifiers (AAHC)
- AAHC is a grass-root community based association of food professionals and halal advocates, established to promote sustainable supply of Halal and Tayyib (pure and wholesome) food and consumer goods.
- AAHC
is a registered not-for-profit, and non-governmental organization (NGO), established to develop American and International Halal institutions that deal with Halal issues such as education, training, research, regulatory procedures, documentation, legalization, translation, accreditation, and standardization.
- AAHC
achieves its goal by creating cooperation and facilitating activities amongst its member organizations. AAHC members’ expertise covers all aspects of halal food (meat and dry goods) development, including formulation, production and processing, labeling, halal certification and monitoring, halal quality assurance, training, and market direction.
